New procedure detects Dementia 9 years earlier than current clinical diagnosis’

A significant step forward was announced yesterday which means that a new test will be able to detect dementia nearly a decade earlier than is currently the case.

It works on analysing brain scans marking differences in the default modal network of brain functionality.

Working in conjunction with other AI models being developed around the world this has significant impact on our post of yesterday whereby we are encouraging people to protect their property with a Trust.

The reason for this is, properties cannot be protected against care fees if the Trust is set up at a time when a diagnosis has been made that would give someone a significant indicator that care may be needed in the future.

If detection is being made up to a decade earlier than now, this would mean that anyone wishing to protect their property in such a way should now really be doing it way in advance of any such a diagnosis being made so really, it would be an ideal time to start thinking about property Trusts in your 40s and 50s rather than waiting until later when it could be too late because an early diagnosis has then been made.

We urge clients to contact us now to arrange these massively important protection strategies while the option to do so still exists, as for some, leaving it will be a decision the whole family may come to regret in the future.
