The Legalisation of Assisted Dying

The debate on the legalisation of assisted dying is being brought forward in Jersey and Guernsey and has already been approved and is awaiting Royal ascent in the Isle of Man.

The Jersey government has announced it intends to bring forward the proposals for allowing assisted dying without further delay.

A debate on the matter is now scheduled for 21st May 2024.

In the Isle of Man, it is expected that assisted dying will become legal in 2025
